A great location like all the others with fast friendly service. I've always loved the Big Sur pizza

Good pizza. Un-friendly staff, attitude of "why are you here? Why am i here? I want to go home". I can count all the people in the restaurant with both hands and the tables are dirty. No time to clean? Or just un-caring attitude.

They lost a pizza my heart after this visit! Very disappointed but happy that they were open during this crazy pandemic! Usually better pizza.

Great pizza for the price point. Like the grab and go set up. Pretty busy on the weekends so the pizza is coming in hot and fresh. If you have a large group, I suggest ordering the whole pizza its worth it. Salads are pretty good too. Came through here with my family. Had to run to the ladies room and missed my salad when they paid for the pizza. Grabbed my salad and stood in line again. Employee directed me to second register to pay. The gentleman at the register was finishing up with another customer. They seemed busy and the wait took forever while the employee was looking for something the other customer needed. When I got up to the register I let him know I just needed to pay for my salad, and the employee comped the meal due to the wait.

Absolutely a spot worth visiting, the food is great and well prepared, the costs are convenient and it is regularly clean here. Great work.

When in Santa Cruz, you have to, have to come to pizza my heart. In my opinion this is the best pizza in norther California. The ingredients are always fresh here. More importantly, the taste is always amazing. They sell pizzas by slice or the whole pie if you wish. Me personally, I always ask for the whole pie, just make sense to eat left over pizza. It’s always busy, but most people just grab slices and go, i love sitting down here watching a good game and enjoying my pie with a good beer.

Pizza is a good deal if you buy the shirt with it. Overall pizza slice by itself is not a good deal, overpriced.

Living like a local! 😁 During my recent trip the good old Berlin Döner Kebab has been replaced by another „triangular world dominator“ when it comes to ‚late night snacking‘. 😅🍕 Two out of two weekends it was impossible to simply walk by without grabbing a quick slice. 🙈 Hence, I thought it‘s time to send out a virtual „Thank you“ for being there when we need food the most!

This is always a crowd pleaser. Even though there was a long line, we had our food within 15 minutes. There were plenty of places to sit, the pizza was delicious and the decor was cute!

Very cool atmosphere. California surfing themed decor with pictures literally covering their walls of all kinds of people on the beach and/or surfing. Good deal for a slice of pizza and t-shirt. $8 or so if I remember right. Wife and I both got the t-shirt slice deal. Decent pizza. Better than average but not the best there is. Good enough to visit again when combined with the atmosphere.

I've been going to this place ever since I was 12 years old. I love the pizza and the tee shirts.

We stop to eat a meal here EVERYTIME we visit the coast. The food is amazing, the decor and vibe in the store is energizing and the employees are Awesome! Big Bonus is their cool T-Shirts😊

Delicious pizza and a great price! Beautiful memorabilia! They also sell shirts. They have a bunch of cool surfing photos and a bunch of cool memorabilia on the walls and a huge shark hanging from the freaking ceiling! 😬

We came to this place for dinner. my friend recommended this spot. Well, we were not disappointed. The staff were very polite and we had a great feeling. The meal was delicious. We loved this restaurant very much and we will definitely return to this restaurant. Recommended.

We had a good experience. The pizza was delicious and the dining area was spacious. Ordering pizza by the slice is definitely a plus.

I am always satisfied upon leaving from this place. There's ample amount of seating, great food selection, beer and drinks. Every time we come to Santa Cruz we always come here. I would highly recommend that you stop into this establishment.

Passable pizza with passable salads. They will try to push their t-shirts on you. I don't know of they have beer & wine. New leaf has better pizza, imo. However, a fine place to take kids.

I vacation in Santa Cruz once a year and always make it a point to visit Pizza My Heart. The staff is amazing and the atmosphere is family friendly. I love this place!

It's pretty good not the best pizza I've had but it's up there. They always have cute shirts you can buy other than pizza. The pizza is new york style and affordable. The serving sizes are good as well one pizza slice will fill you up. It's also a good place to go if you're in a group with picky eaters(since you all order seperate slices), and who doesn't love pizza!!

Since i've discovered that local chain, I stop by every time i'm in SC. It's too freaking good, no matter what option you stick to.

Pizza was absolutely delicious. However, this place was a mess! The trash was completely overfilled and it was falling on the floor already. I ordered wings, theybwere ready 30 minutes after my pizza was delivered to my table. All the tables were filthy dirty, no one walking around cleaning them off, yet there were 3-4 people standing in the back doing nothing.

This was the one by-the-slice pizza place I tried in Santa Cruz. If you buy a t-shirt for $7 you get a free slice, which is cool. A slice with a drink is around $8.50, which isn't bad at all especially if you are just stopping in and dont want to carry around leftovers for the whole night from bar to bar. Cooks and servers are friendly and patient, and there is almost no wait time since the pizza is already cooked, they re-heat it when you order using a stone pizza oven.

Iconic Californian pizza by the slice with a large variety of unique topping mixtures. The slices are pretty large so you shouldn't need to order more than one or two. The sprinkle parmesan and pepper are popular add ons. Open during COVID.

We ordered over the phone then picked it up later. They got our order wrong but it was still good. We ordered a medium pizza w pepperoni and pineapple but got ham and pineapple instead. They give you lots of pepper and cheese w paper plates.

Very tasty. Would've probably been better freshly baked or if you order a whole pizza, not just a slice. Value was ok. Shirt promo is really cute.

If your looking for pizza in down town Santa Cruz come here. There flavor of the day is always great and if you are looking for the best pesto pizza of your life come here miles better than kiantis and pleasure pizza also on pacific ave.

Always fast service and friendly people working. Clean facilities, especially for being a downtown Santa Cruz restaurant. Great decor and special to Santa Cruz with the sharks and all.

Pick up order was quick and easy. Pizza and cheese bread were top notch!

Chicken bacon pizza and the pesto pizza were epic. Atmosphere was amazing, and the staff members were super nice.

Ordered their signature Big Sur Pizza, never had a problem before at this location. Opened the pizza box when I got home to discover that the main item of "40 cloves of roasted garlic" was completely left off of the pizza, was really bummed. :(

I love this pizza. A nice medium thin slice. Nice and crispy. The staff are amazing here very friendly and helpful. Lots of local Santa Cruz surfing ambiance. I love the Maui slice.

How does this place have 4.5?!? Pizza is always greasy/wet, crust is thin and floppy then tough and stale. Overpriced. Gordon Ramsey would be disappointed.

They sell pizzas by the slice here. I tried the combo pizza and it was amazing! My daughter loved her meat pizza as well. May as well get a T-shirt with your pizza slice - it's not even $2 extra. If you're lactose intolerant you'll probably need to order a pizza separate. The cheese can't be peeled from the already cooked pizza.

Amazing pizza. Totally worth the 3 hr ride to try ny style pizza. If you want a crunchy crust and tasty, this is it. :D
